I dont understand.
I dont understand anything. at all.
particles of existance taking form and then eventually falling into dissarrangment.
all in the cycle of creation/destruction
destruction? finality?
All words.
representation of illusion created by man.
a void of meaning when their narrator is nonexistant.
So what then is the meaning of all this?
Am I asking you this?
Or am I only asking myself?

Until humans can see things for what they effectually are,
how do we distinguish factual reality from fiction?

Gosh TheeClaporator, your questions and the way you present your ideas kind of reminds me of Rene Descartes...

Out of curiosity have you ever studied philosophy before? Just wondering... _________________ When the chime ends, pickup your gun. Try and shoot me Coronel... Just try... |

Dude duder..
What's totally going on?
in the grand scheme of things, if there be one..
then there be two..
and three and so on.
For classification to exist a viewpoint is needed.
Without a precursor, does an event exist? |

I hope you're referring to Heineken beer here...
For classification to exist a viewpoint is needed.
Umm, do you mean some sort of consciousness needs to happen first before one attempts to assign mental and physical symbols to an event in an attempt to explain it or make it somehow meaningful despite one's limitations...?
Without a precursor, does an event exist?
Cause and effect. It is hard to have one without the other. One needs to open a bottle of beer before one can drink out of it... _________________ When the chime ends, pickup your gun. Try and shoot me Coronel... Just try... |

Welcome to the brave new world... To be honest I've been experiencing quite a bit of uncertainty myself lately. You would not believe what happened to me a couple Saturdays ago. I went out bar hopping downtown and just got PLASTERED and somehow or another I ended up at the Cambie ("AAAIIIIIEEEEEEE!!! I CAUGHT IT AT THE CAMBIE!!!"). It seems I was just standing there while surrounded by a whole bunch of people when I just completely blacked out! All of a sudden it was like I was asleep and experiencing a very intense, nightmarish dream. And then, all of a sudden, just like that, I woke up again and found that I was still standing up and on my feet at the Cambie! My gosh, you should have seen the weird looks I was getting from people after this. Whatever, the experience really scared me and I've been on the wagon ever since hence the uncertainty. You see, I'm not used to NOT drinking on the weekends and now I have this huge void in my life which needs to be somehow filled. Talk about existential dilemma, eh? _________________ When the chime ends, pickup your gun. Try and shoot me Coronel... Just try... |
